Services
Translation
When we receive a request for translation, it’s vital that we also receive information about the purpose of the translation and the country and region where the translation is intended to be used. We therefore ask our clients all the relevant questions to provide them with the level of service they require.
Editing
We offer editing services of translated texts, which involves reviewing a translation against the original document line by line and making the necessary amendments to ensure it’s a perfect rendering of the source text.
Translation Plus Editing
This is a combined service whereby we provide a translation that has been checked by an independent linguist. It is a very popular service in the translation industry since it minimises the risk of mistakes in the translation process.
Proofreading
This service involves performing a final check of the translation on its own (without checking it against the original document) to ensure the translation has no grammar, spelling or punctuation mistakes and reads well.
Certification
We can provide sworn, certified and notarised translations, depending on your requirements. Please do not hesitate to contact us so we can give you further advice.
Transcription (Audio & Video)
We offer transcription services with quick turnarounds. This is available in English and Spanish.
Liaison Interpreting
Liaison interpreting is the most informal form of interpreting, typically used for business meetings. It is similar to consecutive interpreting, the difference being that the length of time spent speaking is much shorter than in consecutive interpreting.
Formatting/typesetting (DTP)
We can also provide formatting and typesetting services for our translations, when the documents translated require it. The cost of these services will be included in the quote.
Post-editing
We can revise and amend machine-generated translation to achieve an acceptable final product. This is a useful service when the volume for translation is very high and time is of the essence.
