Spanish Translation Office is the new trading name for Concept for Concept Translations, a niche translation company founded by Andrea Barrancos in 2011. 

Andrea is a London-based professional linguist with more than 20 years of experience as a translator, editor, proofreader and project manager in the translation industry. After finishing her degree in legal translation and becoming a Sworn Translator in Uruguay, Andrea completed an MA in Bilingual Translation at the University of Westminster and an MA in Applied Linguistics at Birkbeck College, University of London.
From 2002 to 2007, she worked as an in-house translator at a London-based translation firm focusing on providing legal and financial translation, certification and legalisation services for official documents to be submitted to authorities in Spain and Latin America. In 2008, she moved on to a project management role in the translation department (financial team) of RR Donnelley, a global provider of integrated communication services, working for major banks and asset-management firms in the City of London and around the globe.

Andrea is a Qualified Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL). She also holds a Diploma in Translation (Dip Trans) from the CIoL and she is ISO 17100:2015 Qualified.

The translations we provide are all carried out by our network of highly qualified translators working within their field of expertise and translating into their native language. All our translators have degrees from leading universities in Spain, Latin America and the UK, and are members of recognised professional organisations.
